Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally known by the stage name Andra day is an American R&B artist and singer. She is the recipient of many awards, including one Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra Day is a ferocious musician and artist who isn't just a throwback R&B specialist her roots in gospel jazz and the blues that she sings with ease and grace translate into the current. Cheers to the fall (2015) her debut album that was a huge success reached the Top Ten of the R&B/hip-hop and helped her earn a handful of Grammy nominations as well an Academy Award nomination with Stand Up for Something (2017) her performance on the music of Marshall getting both honors. Amen (2018) as well as the song Make Your Troubles go Away (2020) and her Golden Globe winning portrayal of Billie Holiday (The United States vs. Billie Holiday 2021) have all contributed to the anticipation of her next album. Andra day was born Cassandra Monique Batie, in Edmonds Washington. She grew in San Diego and the metropolitan zone. In the area, she performed at church, and then enrolled in the School of Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating from the college, she began to gravitate towards more contemporary R&B and pop, but she ultimately was drawn back to jazz classics and soul singers she listened to as a youngster. An important break occurred when a performance of hers was discovered by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently took some of Day's music to husband Stevie Wonder. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. In partnership with Gurvitz along with Jeffrey Evans' Buskin label Day built up a YouTube popularity and later signed to major label Warner Bros. n 2012 Day made her debut track Forever Mine on YouTube. The song was immediately received by DJs who were able to play it in radio stations. Her debut album, Cheers to The Fall (2015) was produced by the Adrian Gurvitz. The album was released by Warner Bros. Records. The album included the single Rise Up which became an anthem for social justice movements worldwide. Day has received two Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Album. The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a concept-album about the legendary jazz singer's existence, debuted in 2019. The actress also appeared in The United States vs. Billie Holiday, a film that tells the story of Holiday. Andi Matichak, who is an American actress. She first appeared in the movie Halloween in the role of Allyson After appearing on numerous television shows like Orange Is the New Black (Orange is the New Black), 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods and Orange Is the new black. Andi Matichak is an American actress, was born in Framingham Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
