Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. After that, she performed in several Broadway performances before she was a star on national stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. Her first album of music, It's Time For Tina that same year. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, when she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge success and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and began a relationship with Lee Strasberg as his student. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently Tapping has also emerged as a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Then she settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
