Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very popular. Sara Ramirez was raised by her American mother and faced a lot racial taunts and led her to feel unwelcome. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim during an audition. This experience did not just help her gain confidence but changed her outlook on life. She graduated from New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. As she was turning 23 she began her professional career on Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, aged 23 she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. However her greatest breakthrough came when she appeared in the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway production of Spamalot receiving not just her the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. Her fame grew by appearing on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. Known as a singer she released her own single and an extended show. In addition, she's an activist who is active to promote LGBT rights.
